The average gas usage doesn’t depend that much on the number of people per household, but more on the number of bedrooms per property. In the table below you’ll find the average gas usage per number of bedrooms:

Is our gas usage increasing?

The price for gas in the UK is lower than the worldwide average. In the EU only Finland has a lower gas price than the UK. The gas prices in Greece and Denmark are the highest.
