What is the average time to get pregnant?

Usually once you have decided you want to have a baby with your partner you can’t wait to get pregnant. However sometimes this can take some time. The average length of time it takes to get pregnant is about 6 months. 

■30% of all women is pregnant within 3 months
■40% of all women is pregnant within 6 months
■20% of all women is pregnant within 12 months
■10% of all women is pregnant within 24 months

After 30 the chances decline per month. By the age of 35 years old the chance of getting pregnant is halved. When do I have to go to the doctor if I can’t get pregnant?

The average length of time it takes to get pregnant is about 6 months. If you’re not pregnant after 6 months there is no need to panic. However if you are not pregnant after a year of trying, it is advised to visit your doctor. Also, you are recommended to consult your doctor after half a year if you are over the age of 35.
