Some people stay together with their first love for their entire life. However, its more common for people to have several relationships throughout their lifetime. So what is the average number of relationships people have? Research shows that in the UK people have on average 7.5 relationships throughout their life.

The average number of relationships for a European man is 7.4. That means that in the UK, men have more relationships on average compared to other European men. The average number of relationships for a European woman is 6.2. In Finland people have on average the largest amount of exes. Their average number of relationships is 9.
